How you get service
Sold online direct from gotrax.com. The return policy also refers to purchases from partner bike shops, which are handled by the shop.. Warranty claims go through support@gotrax.com or an online claim form with proof of purchase and photos or video. The warranty page does not mention partner bike shops and says Gotrax does not pay local shop installation fees.source
Warranty
E-bikes priced at $499 or more: 2 years on frame, rear hub motor, fork and battery (battery misuse and non-approved chargers void it). E-bikes under $499: 1 year. Wear items 90 days. Tires, tubes and brake pads are not covered.source
Returns
Request within 31 days of delivery. Unopened bikes: buyer pays return shipping. Opened or lightly used bikes under 20 miles: return shipping plus a 25% restocking fee. Confirmed defects: prepaid label. Batteries and individual parts are not refundable.source
